Mayokun's Memos

In our lives, there are so many potential sources of anxiety, depression, worry, discouragement, fear, and the list goes on and on and on. You are not alone in feeling this way! There are so many things attempting to take away our joy, attempting to make us doubt God, and attempting to warp our self-image. Luckily, there is a simple prescription to these conditions – an encouraging word! It sounds so simple, but don’t take my word for it; take God’s Word.

Proverbs 12:25 says ‘Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up.’

Proverbs 16:24 then says ‘Kind words are like honey – sweet to the soul and healthy for the body’.

That is exactly what Mayokun’s Memos (that’s me) is here to do- encourage you. I will do this by reminding you of who God is, and what He has said about you! I pray that your soul is refreshed as you listen.
